You will assist the Head of Payroll in managing a diverse portfolio of payroll clients, ensuring all payroll matters are handled with precision. Key Responsibilities Process monthly payrolls (end-to-end) for our clients accurately and on time, ensuring all deadlines are met. Ensure all payroll actions comply with relevant legislation and contractual obligations. Provide advice to clients and the Wellers team, responding to payroll queries. Support clients with payroll reporting requirements. Calculate benefits and produce P11ds & PSAs, submitting them to HMRC. Assist with setting up new PAYE schemes and handling any payroll transitions. Set up pension schemes as required and manage all Auto Enrolment enquiries. Perform manual payroll calculations when necessary. Communicate with HMRC regarding any PAYE-related queries. Perform other related duties as required. About You Knowledge: undergraduate degree in a relevant subject.Relevant payroll qualifications (e.g. CIPP) are preferred but not essential. Skills: excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy. Strong communication and numeracy skills. Ability to analyse data and work as part of a team. Experience: experience in end-to-end payroll processing and auto enrolment administration. Experience of a multi-payroll environment, or within professional practice, as well as BrightPay/ Sage payroll software experience, is preferred but not essential.
