Using Health Roster to ensure appropriate staff resources are planned/ deployed to meet safe staffing requirements. Undertake assessments of individuals with complex mental health presentations, and high levels of risk. Create co-produced/ collaborative care and recovery plans. Offer specialist nursing assessment and advice. Take the lead in delivering therapeutic group work programmes. Administer medication, complying with relevant Trust procedures and NMC Guidance. Ensure the safe custody of all patients alongside the clinical team. Including the supervision of patients within hospital, grounds and the community. Undertake audits of clinical activity and standards and develop action plans to address any improvements required. Participate in the on-site site Manager rota; providing out of hours senior managerial, clinical advice, guidance and support on site. To be the first point of contact for fire, medical and psychiatric emergencies and coordinate Section 136 assessments as required. Maintain an up-to-date level of professional competence within the specific environment. Attend meetings, multi-disciplinary ward rounds and case conferences as necessary and present information relating to patients or the service as necessary.
