We're seeking someone who contributes to improve customer experience by ensuring a safe and comfortable environment in the Meeting Place. You possess a customer-focused mindset and have knowledge in commercial properties operations, or perhaps you've done something similar? Either way, this is a new Meeting Place for us, and we want someone who's up for the opportunity!
You'll be responsible for optimizing the Meeting Place experience for many people, driving visitation to the Meeting Places and IKEA, and delivering sustainable business growth for our Partners and Meeting Places. Achieve operational results, drive efficiency improvements, and enhance commercial performance, brand value, and sustainability performance of the Meeting Places.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY:
As a Core Operations Leader at Ingka Centres, your role is to work with your team to make Brighton an inspirational Meeting Place that goes beyond customer expectations. It's an exciting journey, and you will be at the heart of it!
To make this happen, you’ll cooperate with the Meeting Place Team, Service Office, and Facility Management Service providers to maintain and operate the property at a high level with a focus on sustainability.
1. Partner with Facility Management team to ensure good Facilities Management service with a positive impact on customer experience.
2. Work with the Meeting Place Manager on budget management across all budgets.
3. Lead and manage a variety of projects with working Service Office, Consultants, and Supply Partners, securing the best commercial and operational support to improve financial performance of the Meeting Place.
4. Oversee and facilitate Tenant coordination liaising with FM service and the Partner Relationship Manager.
5. Update all requirements for Facilities Management organization on a yearly basis.
6. Be the interface between Meeting Place Management Team and Facilities Management Service for installation of events or any other technical components.
7. Interface between Facilities Management Service and Meeting Place Management team for continuous performance improvement in sustainability areas including energy, emissions, water management, waste management, and implementation of company and local sustainability initiatives.
8. Support with the Safety & Security Lead on risk management, where applicable.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
This position is full time, you will work 39 hours per week, on-call duty will be required over weekends, and weekend shifts will be pro-rated to equate to 8 times over the year.
