Talent Development Administrator
Contract type: Asap till August 2024, potential to be extended beyond this
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 with early finish on Fridays 16:30
Hourly rate: £13.51p/h
Location: Derby, City Centre
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Talent Development Administrator to work for one of our clients within the Education sector in Derby. We are looking for someone with exceptional organisational, time management, and IT skills; you will need to be proactive and able to multitask and complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
As a Talent Development Administrator, you will have:
1. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
2. Professional verbal and written skills
3. Flexibility and ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
4. A confident, professional phone manner and ability to answer calls with ease
5. Excellent customer service skills
6. Excellent IT skills
7. A high level of accuracy - editing and proofreading
8. The ability to be both proactive and reactive in a timely and professional manner
9. Teamwork and ability to work independently
10. A methodical and organised approach to work
11. Updating administrative systems accordingly
Main Duties/Responsibilities
As a Talent Development Administrator, day-to-day duties will often depend on the department's needs. Common tasks will include ensuring all relevant administrative duties are taken care of so the business can run smoothly. This will usually include:
1. Coordinating Training Events
2. Providing high-quality customer service to both internal and external customers
3. Handling enquiries via email/phone, responding in a timely manner
4. Dealing with enquiries in the Staff development inbox, ensuring all are resolved
5. Creating reports and organising data on Excel
6. Managing staff development records
7. Processing any time-sensitive requests
8. Reviewing and updating the information held on the intranet site and HR system
9. General administrative tasks
10. Learning the procedures and understanding parameters of producing a quality output
11. Reading, replying to, and following up emails
12. Articulating and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and clients
Essential requirements:
1. Previous experience in setting up learning events and organising them
2. Experience in using Excel/Teams
3. IT skills
4. Ability to work to targets
