Key Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mill equipment and machinery. • Diagnose faults, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and carry out necessary repairs. • Assist in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to prevent breakdowns and improve reliability. • Work with engineers and supervisors to install new equipment and upgrade existing systems. • Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely, adhering to company policies and health & safety regulations. • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, faults, and repairs. • Monitor stock levels of spare parts and consumables, reporting any shortages. • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. • Follow company procedures for reporting hazards, near misses, and incidents. Requirements: • Previous experience in a maintenance role, ideally within a mill or industrial setting. • Basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and occasional overtime. • A relevant qualification in engineering, maintenance, or a related field is desirable. • Experience with welding, fabrication, or forklift operation would be an advantage Monday - Friday 39hr per week ADZN1_UKTJ
