Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Surrey, Croydon Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £100 Per day Job Duties: Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support Supervising students during break times and other non-teaching periods Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment Required Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths Relevant experience working with children or young people Good communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience working with children or young people Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of child development and educational principles Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: Work primarily within school hours May involve some additional hours for school events or meetings Regularly interact with students, teachers, and parents All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
