About the role: Due to the company's continued success and the amount of new work already in the pipeline, there is an urgent need for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team and assist with one of their forthcoming larger projects in Oxford. This exciting opportunity will involve estimating costs for a project valued between £5 million and £40 million in either the residential or educational sector. The successful candidate will be based in the company's head office in Oxford and visit the respective sites when needed. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the costs of construction projects, procuring materials and services for construction projects, administering construction contracts, identifying and mitigating risks associated with construction projects, valuing construction work, preparing cost reports for construction projects, and ensuring that construction work meets quality standards. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in managing a range of projects, ideally including education, retail, commercial, residential, leisure, industrial, and healthcare, with projects ranging in value from £5m to £40m. The Quantity Surveyor will work alongside the Commercial Manager, who will provide day-to-day hands-on guidance and support.
