Deputy Manager- Children's/ Young Adults Services
**Please note, this is a brand new facility due to open in the upcoming weeks.**
Location: Melksham
Full-time position
Salary: £28.800+joining bonus
Brook Street Social Care is recruiting on behalf of a client specialised in supporting children and young people in their every-day activities to create them the opportunity to enjoy life from a young age regardless the challenges they have experienced previously.
The organisation is due to open a brand new Residential Home for Children in Salisbury and they are seeking for a Deputy Manager to join the organisation.
About the role:
1. Support the Registered Manager and act on behalf whenever needed
2. Lead and manage the team, work together as a unit to make sure the service is running smoothly
3. Supervise staff operations, including conducting performance evaluations and ensuring compliance with training requirements
4. Coordinate health and safety initiatives, including:
Implementing and monitoring safety protocols
Conducting risk assessments
Verifying completion of mandatory training programs
About you:
5. Experience as Senior Support Worker (1 year min.),demonstrating effective leadership
6. Minimum Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce qualification
7. Must have excellent communication skills and problem solving mindset
