Our client, a leader in their sector, are currently looking for a Pump Engineer to join their highly valued team on a full-time basis. Some of the services offered within the division are maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment. Previous experience within all of these areas is preferred although not essential.
You will be part of a team who all understand the importance of working together to ensure a high standard of work is delivered. You will be given support, training, and the correct tools to carry out your role efficiently and effectively.
Pump Engineer Role and Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance & Repairs: Carry out scheduled maintenance, fault investigations, and repairs on various pumps and associated equipment across different sites.
2. Installation & Upgrades: Manage pump replacements, installations, and upgrades for submersible pumps, clean water pumps, sewage pumps, and more.
3. Compliance & Regulations: Ensure equipment is maintained in line with current regulations, providing accurate reports and updates to both clients and internal teams.
4. Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning of new pump systems and associated equipment following installations and modifications.
5. Client Interaction: Liaise effectively with both commercial and residential customers, providing exceptional service and professional communication.
6. Collaboration with M&E Services: Work closely with the M&E Services department to ensure seamless operations across all client sites.
7. Emergency Call-Outs: Participate in the emergency call-out rota, attending to urgent repair or maintenance needs as required.
8. Equipment Handling: Work with various pump types including submersible pumps, sewage treatment pumps, booster pumps, water feature pumps, and more.
Pump Engineer Certifications & Qualifications:
1. CSCS Certification
2. IPAF Certification
3. Confined Space Trained
4. 18th Edition Electrical Competency
5. Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
6. Health & Safety awareness.
