Exciting Opportunity for Band 6 Orthopaedic Occupational Therapist - in Surrey
MedicsPro Recruitment are currently looking for a Band 6 Orthopaedic Occupational Therapist to work in an ongoing Orthopaedic role based with an NHS client in Surrey.
Successful candidate will be working with individuals with long term Orthopaedic conditions.
The role is Full Time Hours, Mon-Fri. Ongoing Contract.
Excellent umbrella rates available.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Empowering patients to participate more fully in daily tasks when compromised by a health condition.
2. Addressing aspects of performance to support engagement in occupations affecting health and well-being.
3. Selecting and adapting appropriate occupational therapy treatment methods.
4. Evaluating patient conditions and needs.
5. Developing treatment plans to help patients meet specific goals.
6. Responsible for individual assessments and equipment provision, coping strategies, energy conservation and discussing anxiety.
7. Pre assessment and delivery of pulmonary rehabilitation courses to groups - in person and virtually via MS Teams with a physiotherapist.
