Job Title: Music Teacher
Location: Halstead
Contract type: full-time/ long term.
Salary Scale: £130-£230 per day
Start Date: Immediately
Are you passionate about music and inspiring students to explore their musical talents? Do you have the creativity and enthusiasm to make music come alive in the classroom? We are seeking an energetic and dedicated music teacher to join the team in a secondary school in Halstead.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach music to students of various year groups, covering both practical and theoretical aspects.
* Foster a love of music by delivering engaging and interactive lessons on music theory, history, performance, and composition.
* Encourage students to explore different genres and styles of music, and develop their individual musical skills.
* Support school music performances, ensembles, and extracurricular activities such as choirs or bands.
* Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support their development as musicians.
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop the music curriculum and school events.
* Inspire students to reach their full potential.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in Music.
- Experience working within education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
- GCSE's or equivalent at grade C (Pass) or above.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students' academic and emotional development.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A strong passion for teaching Music.
