Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the restaurant and hospitality industry, with a proven track record in food preparation, kitchen management, and staff supervision. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining high standards of food production, and fostering a positive work environment for all employees.
Duties
1. Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
2. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards.
3. Manage inventory levels and coordinate food production to meet customer demand efficiently.
4. Supervise and train staff in various roles, including kitchen personnel and bartenders, to enhance their skills and performance.
5. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
6. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain a high level of service quality.
7. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special events and menu offerings effectively.
8. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
Experience
1. Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality sector is essential.
2. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is required.
3. Experience in supervising staff and managing teams effectively is crucial.
4. Familiarity with bartending practices is advantageous but not mandatory.
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with both customers and staff members.
6. A passion for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment is essential.
