Location:This role is site-based due to the responsibilities of team management and collaboration. However, in time, the firm offers flexibility for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership:
o Develop and execute the employment law department's strategy in alignment with the firm's overall goals.
o Collaborate closely with the CEO and board members to drive growth and expansion.
o Identify opportunities to enhance the firm's market presence and reputation.
* Team Management:
o Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of employment law professionals.
o Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring the team meets and exceeds targets.
o Conduct regular performance reviews and development planning for team members.
* Client Management:
o Manage and grow key client relationships, delivering exceptional service.
o Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients across a range of industries.
o Develop tailored solutions that align with client business objectives.
* Business Development:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
o Network and build strong relationships within the legal and business communities.
o Represent the firm at industry events and conferences.
* Operational Oversight:
o Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
o Oversee financial performance, including budgeting and revenue forecasting.
o Implement best practices to improve efficiency and service delivery.
* Technical Excellence:
o Stay up to date with developments in employment law and ensure the team remains informed.

o Oversee the handling of complex employment law cases with professionalism and expertise.

o Work collaboratively with internal teams and departments to support firm-wide objectives.
