You will engage with end users to understand their requirements, develop test solutions, conduct lab tests and real-world trials, and ensure product functionality when needed. You will document results, analyze product behavior, and provide updates to stakeholders. Your work culminates in technical reports essential for product deployment decisions.
You will work with various technologies, including RF, cellular, and GPS, and capabilities like tracking, audio, and video systems, across different lifecycle stages. You may need to lift heavy test equipment (up to 25kg), which is manageable with two people.
Your career development will be supported through coaching, mentoring, training courses, and accreditation.
More About You
To apply, you should have:
* An HND or equivalent experience in Electronics/Communications engineering or related field.
* Experience in electronics testing and measurements.
* Experience documenting test results and procedures.
* A full UK driving license.
Beneficial but not essential qualifications include:
* Experience with RF systems and antennas, Cellular & Wireless tech (5G, LTE, UMTS, GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), GPS systems, or Audio/Video tech.
* Developing test plans or conducting user trials.
* Technical report writing skills.
* Ability to mentor or train less experienced engineers.
