We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Intervention and Inclusion specialist to join our growing team at Hazel Grove High School. In this rewarding role, you'll provide targeted intervention and support to students who struggle to manage their behaviour and/or approach to learning in class. You will assist with provision for students with SEND through working collaboratively with pastoral teams and external agencies across the school, to meet the needs of these students, whilst also mitigating the impact that they have on the learning and progress of others within the classroom environment.
Here at the Laurus Trust, we are able to provide a cutting-edge SEND provision that has a positive impact on our young people, and we are currently looking to recruit caring and dedicated individuals to join our SEND team. You will play a vital role in enhancing pupils' progress whilst promoting their independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion. A comprehensive offer of professional learning is in place, and we ensure that all schools have designated workspaces for staff. A broad range of training in SEND is in place across all our schools focused on whole school SEND issues as well as specific training for SEND teams.
If you would like to join our Laurus family in a rewarding role that changes the lives of our pupils by empowering them to become the best that they can, then we would love to hear from you.
This position is contracted on a 37 hours per week Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. In total you will be in work for a minimum of 37 out of 52 weeks.
