An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated pharmacy technician to join our small, friendly and progressive inpatient pharmacy department at Weston General Hospital.
We are looking for a competent, enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team of Pharmacy Medicines Optimisation technicians (Band 5).
The successful applicant will need to have the full Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician accreditation. They will also need to have the Medicines Optimisation Pharmacy Technician accreditation or be willing to work towards it.
Applicants must possess robust leadership skills and be dedicated to the development of medicines optimisation throughout the Trust. The position is challenging and demands much motivation and flexibility. Applicants must be adept communicators, organised and gifted in supporting and developing the skill set of their team. Most importantly, they must share our passion for caring for patients through the delivery of high quality, patient-focused clinical services.
Duties include developing strong working relationships with all healthcare staff within the Trust in order to provide patient centred management of medicines for patients during their stay in hospital.
