Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Support the engineering team by carrying out systematic tasks and continuous improvements to plant and machinery to improve existing manufacturing processes.
2. Use initiative to identify areas that will improve production performance, line utilisation, and focus on reducing scrap levels.
3. Provide maintenance support regarding projects.
4. Work on a large variety of equipment including gear boxes, pumps, motors, bearings, drives, inverters, relays, sensors, conveyor systems, and PLCs.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Multi skilled engineer - ideally electrical bias.
2. Apprentice trained/HNC qualified.
3. Experience working within manufacturing.
4. Strong problem solving/fault finding ability and experience.
