Your work will significantly impact the financial health and transparency of the organisation. You will provide consistent accountancy support for the team while contributing to the analysis of financial data, including financial modelling and forecasting. Responsibilities Lead month-end reconciliation processes Leading central consolidation and reporting Producing and maintaining central consolidation models Support to Balance Sheet reconciliation and monthly review Gatekeeper for the accounting system to control period locks and maintain integrity of the accounts Investigate and resolve account discrepancies Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary to explain variances to forecast and budget Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for various stakeholders Support the preparation of external audits Conduct detailed financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making and business planning Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, ensuring alignment with organisational goals Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations Ensure integrity of the financial statements reporting accuracy in line with accounting standards Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations, providing relevant guidance Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, internal controls, and regulatory filings Provide cover for other members of the finance team as necessary Perform other duties as required. Qualifications About You Qualified in ATT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or CA with a recognised professional accounting body Skills and competencies Essential Strong experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, V Lookups) and experience with various accounting systems Excellent communication skills Strong IT skills Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment and prioritise workload effectively Desirable Exposure to a project management-led business is an advantage Personal Attributes Must be a British Citizen or must have an existing right to work in the UK Strong communicator Ability to work well within a cross-functional team Enthusiasm for their work and self-motivated Ability to hold Security Clearance – 5 years residence in the UK Callen-Lenz is an equal opportunities employer, committed to building an inclusive working environment.
