Senior Manager - E-waste Supply Chain
We’re looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to join us in Amsterdam or London.
The Supply Chain Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in driving our organization towards its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) targets. By efficiently managing the lifecycle of E-waste and optimizing the supply chain processes, the incumbent will ensure sustainable practices are integrated across all facets of logistics and procurement.
This role is essential in minimizing environmental impact, promoting responsible resource management, and fostering ethical partnerships with all stakeholders, thereby contributing to our commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and governance excellence.
What will you be doing?
1. Oversee and coordinate logistics efforts among E-waste suppliers, refurbishment partners, and buying customers.
2. Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company’s vision and business unit goals.
3. Build and nurture strong relationships with diverse stakeholder groups, including international customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Coordinate the relationship between the sales team, Liberty Global Affiliates, clients and refurbishment & recycle partner to enhance performance and meet revenue targets.
4. Oversee procurement activities, legal frameworks, and contract management between Re-Think and refurbishment and recycling partners, third parties, OEMs, and buyers. Execute effective communication towards business stakeholders.
5. Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
6. Support efforts to reduce carbon emissions by promoting the reutilization of technology through the Re-Think initiative and represent Re-Think during events.
We tend to look for people with:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) preferred.
2. Several years experience in supply chain or logistics management, preferably in a senior role, ideally within the telecommunications industry, with knowledge of key players and market dynamics, worldwide.
3. Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics coordination, and inventory management.
4. Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across varied markets and nationalities.
5. Proven ability to develop strategic solutions that drive business performance.
6. Experience working with ERP systems and logistics software.
7. Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
8. Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business priorities. Strong project management skills to effectively manage multiple initiatives and prioritize tasks.
9. Knowledge of current sustainability practices and how they integrate with business strategies.
