KO2's client, a leading provider to the Automotive industry worldwide, is looking to expand its CAD Processing & PCB Layout Design team in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled PCB designer to join a dynamic team in a role that combines both technical PCB layout and data processing.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDesign and lay out new multilayer PCBs using Altium Designer.\nCreate library parts and perform schematic capture.\nWork closely with the testing team to ensure compliance with both company and customer requirements.\nGenerate data required for quotations and collaborate with the sales team.\nConduct testability analysis and generate reports.\nProcess customer CAD files, BOMs, Gerber files, and schematics for test coverage and software design.\nQuote test times based on customer requirements and test coverage needs.What We're Looking For:\n\nSolid experience in PCB layout design, particularly with Altium Designer.\nThe ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.\nStrong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.\nExcellent problem-solving abilities, both independently and within a team.\nProficient communication and data analysis skills.About the Role: This position is a 50/50 split between data processing and PCB layout. On the data processing side, you will handle BOMs, CAD data, Gerber files, and process customer input for quotations, working closely with the sales team.
