A secondary school in Tadley is seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping them to develop a deep understanding of historical events, cultures, and perspectives.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging History lessons that bring the past to life.
* Teach a broad and exciting curriculum, covering British and world history.
* Encourage critical thinking, debate, and independent research skills.
* Use a variety of teaching strategies to support students of all abilities.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the Humanities department and support extra-curricular activities such as history clubs and trips.
Qualifications:
Qualified History Teachers (QTS/QTLS required).
ECTs qualifying this year looking for a supportive school to begin their career.
Unqualified teachers with relevant History teaching experience may also be considered.
Passion for History with strong classroom management and a commitment to student progress.
