About the Practice & Team: This small animal practice, located along the stunning Northeast coastline, boasts a friendly and collaborative team environment. The current setup includes: 2-vet team 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) 3 Student Veterinary Nurses (soon to qualify) A committed Reception and Animal Nursing Assistant (ANA) team. The practice is well-equipped with modern facilities, enabling them to provide excellent standards of care. They routinely offer laparoscopic and orthopaedic surgeries in-house and are passionate about encouraging staff development through CPD and specialized training. About the Role: This full-time role (40 hours per week) offers a perfect blend of consultations and surgeries, with the flexibility to tailor responsibilities to suit your areas of interest. Work Schedule: 4 x 10-hour days per week. 1:3 Saturday mornings (8:30 am - 12 pm, 3.5 hours consults only). Time back in lieu the following week for Saturdays worked. No OOH, on-call, or Bank Holiday working. Single-site practice - no branch work. Whether you're an experienced vet or a new graduate, the team is happy to provide mentorship and support, especially for those keen to develop their skills in laparoscopic or orthopaedic surgeries. For candidates with a medical interest, the practice is open to funding additional training or certificates. Benefits: Salary up to £60,000 (Depending on Experience) Generous CPD allowance with active support for certifications and additional clinical training. RCVS, VDS, and BSAVA memberships paid.
