We are looking for a Treasurer to work with our brilliant charity and be part of empowering our amazing clients to overcome adversity and trauma and rebuild their lives. You will be passionate about the work we do to rebuild the lives of adults and young people.
You will be a Trustee and member of our Board, working with other trustees to use your expertise to support our charity be the best that it can be.
You will be a qualified accountant who will:
* Ensure that finances are taken into account in our strategic decision making as well as ensuring that we are fulfilling our financial duties and responsibilities.
* Chair our Finance and Staffing Committee and ensure proper financial reporting to the Board as well as the appropriate preparation and audit of our accounts.
* Provide advice, guidance and support to our Finance Team ensuring that appropriate financial controls and processes are in place.
The time commitment would be around 5 days a year including attendance at 4 board meetings a year and a strategy day.
