Your new role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality, reliable equipment for the concrete, construction, and environmental industries. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Designing Detailed Mechanical Drawings and 3D Models: You’ll create precise and innovative designs for mixing plants, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
2. Building BOM and Components Lists: You’ll compile comprehensive bills of materials (BOMs) and component lists for the equipment.
3. Research and Development (R&D): You’ll actively contribute to the development of new products and enhancements to existing ones.
4. FEA Analysis: You’ll perform finite element analysis (FEA) on structural steel buildings used in mixing plants.
5. Technical Documentation: You’ll maintain up-to-date manuals and technical data sheets in alignment with the drawings.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
1. Education: A secondary education degree (BEng or similar) in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
2. Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in mechanical design.
3. Proficiency in 3D CAD Systems: Ideally, you’ll be proficient in 3D CAD systems, with a preference for experience with Creo.
