Are you an inspiring educator with a passion for making a meaningful impact? We’re seeking a dynamic Motor Vehicle Tutor to join our team at HMP The Mount, helping learners within the prison system reach their potential and supporting their long-term aspirations
About the Role
Working on-site with small groups, you’ll deliver engaging Motor Vehicle courses up to Level 2, helping learners develop critical skills, knowledge, and behaviours for their future. As a Tutor, you’ll play an essential role in creating tailored training plans, offering advice and guidance, and ensuring high-quality course delivery that motivates and empowers.
Key Responsibilities
Engage and Educate: Deliver Motor Vehicle instruction that inspires and actively engages learners.
Individualized Learning: Develop and implement effective training plans to meet each learner's unique needs and goals.
Guidance and Support: Provide clear guidance and feedback, supporting learners on their path toward achievement.
Quality Commitment: Maintain high standards of delivery to foster a positive and productive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
To qualify:
* Level 2 Vocational qualification
* An expert in your field with substantial vocational experience
* Experience of delivering vocational based training
* A teaching or assessing qualification is desirable
* Ability to display a wide range of training methods to engage learners
If you don’t currently hold a teaching or assessing qualification, we are able to support you through the appropriate qualifications and assessments, as part of your probationary period.
