We are looking for a Senior Consultant who lives and breathes hacking and information security. You will have earned your stripes doing CHECK work in data centres and be ready to lead teams of talented testers.
The KPMG’s Cyber Defence (CDS) Team conducts client-facing technical assurance and penetration testing. Our clients are diverse, covering many sectors with specialisms in Financial Services, High-end Defence Assurance, and Telecommunications.
What will you be doing?
As a senior role, we want your business acumen as well as your technical hacking skills. You will drive the business forward and understand what clients are looking for in security testing.
Aspects of the role include:
* Delivery of testing and oversight of junior testers
* Peer review of deliverables (QA)
* Knowledge sharing
* Continuous self-development, including gaining client feedback
* Developing constructive client relationships
* Understanding KPMG’s broader offerings
* Contributing to proposals and participating in client presentations
What will you need to do it?
* Passion for Hacking!
* Clear understanding of penetration testing and red-teaming
* Proven experience in delivering testing
* Experience in the UK cyber security industry
* Understanding of information security principles
* Strong technical background in computing, networks, and programming
* Experience producing high-quality deliverables
* Excellent communication skills
* Interest in working with large multi-national clients
Qualifications/Certifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
* Minimum of 3 years of experience
* SecOps related certifications
* Good to have - at least one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC or equivalent
* Knowledge of secure environments and accredited labs
* Research and Development experience
* Application testing experience
Formal Requirements:
* NCSC CHECK Team Member
* UK Government Security Clearance – ability to apply for and hold SC is required, DV is advantageous
