About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join a vibrant mainstream secondary school in Burnage. This full-time position will commence on the 6th of January 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to students across various year groups, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
Salary:
£31,650 to £49,084
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
* Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practices.
* Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
* Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
* A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) with a specialization in Mathematics.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
* Experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential.
