Partnership Management Executive
Location: Virginia Water, Surrey.
Contract: 12 month FTC
Working Hours: 3-4 days per week in the office.
The European Tour group is one of the world’s pre-eminent golf organisations, responsible for running the DP World Tour, Legends Tour, Challenge Tour, and G4D Tour (golf for the disabled). We also organise the Ryder Cup, alongside the PGA of America.
About the Role
Join our team as a Partnership Management Executive, where you’ll manage and deliver commercial relationships for the DP World Tour and Ryder Cup. You’ll provide essential administrative support to partner accounts, ensuring the delivery of contractual rights and activation of partnerships in line with brand objectives.
Reporting to a Partnership Manager, you will collaborate with multiple departments, including Marketing, Broadcast, Content, Digital, Strategy, and Championship Management. Building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders will be key. Your day-to-day tasks will include maintaining status reports, updating project trackers, drafting briefing documents, and preparing reports accurately and on time.
Occasionally, you’ll support onsite at tournaments, handling event administration and delivery roles. Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with a keen understanding of the sports sponsorship landscape. Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines are crucial.
Flexibility and adaptability are vital, as the role may require extended hours and occasional travel within the UK or internationally. The DP World Tour partners with several world-renowned brands, including BMW, Buffalo Trace, DP World, Emirates, Fortinet, and Rolex, among others.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage day-to-day communications and administrative tasks for partner accounts.
2. Support commercial partner-related event administration and delivery tasks for allocated tournaments.
3. Ensure partner visibility and integration during tournament weeks by working closely with tournament operations and championships teams.
4. Assist the wider Partnership Management team with ongoing administrative tasks.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of partner activations.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you should have:
1. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and workstreams.
2. Excellent communication skills for confident and clear interactions with partners, agencies, and colleagues.
3. Proficiency in project management, including tracking, updating, and prioritizing tasks.
4. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
5. A willingness to be a team player and an interest in sports marketing, partnership management, or sponsorship.
An understanding of golf is not required.
