LNT Construction Limited, part of LNT Care Developments, is now seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our team.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Management of Warehouse and warehouse team.
2. Create and manage a functional asset inventory and prepare said assets for further use on site.
3. Ensure deliveries are checked and stored correctly for future use.
4. Plan and arrange distribution or collection of materials and assets throughout the lifecycle of each site.
5. Arrange the repair of all LNTC tools and equipment.
6. Ensure and verify all tools are commissioned, verified, functionally tested, and handed out to the site teams to a high standard.
7. Sort and test festoon lighting and 110v drop downs ready for re-distribution with valid tickets.
8. Pick and distribute PPE and safety footwear, allocated to LNTC employees.
9. Arrange for “crane rubble” skips, and all LNMTC lifting equipment to be tested and certified for safe use, ensuring all required paperwork/certificates (LOLER) are forwarded to site.
10. Take ownership and be solely responsible for the register of any workplace equipment, tools, or property issued, hired, or allocated to LNT Construction operatives.
Experience and Knowledge:
1. Able to manage a busy warehouse and team ensuring requests are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
2. Full understanding of the highway code and contributing UK traffic laws.
3. Knowledge of securing problematic materials and loads to allow the safe transport of driver and load.
4. Able to understand welfare and safety for their team and drivers.
5. A good practical knowledge of mechanical principles and generally “how things work.”
6. A good knowledge of UK road networks and how to plan routes for drivers.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Categories B1, B, C, BE, fkpg.
2. Warehouse Management qualification or equivalent.
3. Full UK driver licence with the necessary categories.
4. FLT/Counterbalance licence.
5. PAT Testing experience.
