Every year, our team changes the lives of children, young people and families. The Women and Family Safety Service supports women and children who have been subjected to domestic abuse. WAFSS is a Dundee and Angus wide service and we work closely with our partners in the Violence against Women Partnerships. WAFSS is funded by the Scottish Government and we have been fortunate to secure further funding until We currently have a part time practitioner and look to employ another full time (37hrs) Family Support Practitioner. The post does involving travelling throughout Dundee and Angus to support women in their own homes so the post holder must have a driving licence and access to a car. The post is open to women only. (Exempt under the Equality Act 2010 pursuant to schedule 9 part 1) How you'll help to create brighter futures Undertaking risk assessments and developing safety plans.
