Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team based in Clarence Park Extra Care in Malvern. As a Team Leader, you will provide support to our extra care complex, offering specialised support to individuals. Radis recognises each person as an individual and provides a unique service tailored to their specific needs, ensuring a consistent approach throughout their life.
You will be the first point of contact for the package, providing supervisions, meetings, and support to the Care Workers. The role will require you to schedule and allocate work to the Care Workers, ensuring personal care and all care tasks are client-specific. You will also support with medication, personal care tasks, and offer assistance within the community.
You will be required to participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for care and Radis' housing-related support duties when emergency cover is needed.
Here are some details about the hours and shifts required:
The role is 75% care and 25% office work, leading a team and keeping up to date with compliance. Creating support plans and supporting the team to provide high-quality care. The current shift pattern is:
1. Monday 7-3
2. Tuesday 2-10
3. Wednesday 7-3
4. Thursday off
5. Friday 7-3 one week and 3-10 the other
6. Then alternate weekends.

Previous experience as a Team Leader will be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, working towards Level 3. You will have good written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn in line with clients' needs and expectations.
This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check. A driving licence with access to a vehicle will also be advantageous as some travel may be required for the role.
