Our Role
This role sits within the QA team at The White Company and will support the smooth flow of Gold Seal (approved product retain samples) availability between head office and DC. An ideal candidate will have had previous experience managing data, proficient in Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint, with excellent organisational and communication skills. The role is full-time, with opportunity of hybrid working. Monday – Friday, based in TVC.
Reporting to the QA managers, you will work alongside the Home and Clothing product technologists, DC, and Supply Chain Analyst.
What you’ll be doing
* Reviewing Gold Seals availability against intake SKU list
* Attending weekly meetings with DC QC team and Technical Managers to discuss upcoming intake
* Managing QC Hold Log communications from Head Office
* Managing the upkeep of the Gold Seal Log
* Escalating Gold seal availability issues to the correct departments to ensure they can be dealt with swiftly
* Tracking and reporting Gold seal availability
* Escalating Gold seal discrepancies to the relevant teams promptly
* Offering ad-hoc reporting on Gold seal and QC holds to QA teams as needed
* Arranging for Gold seals to be sent to the DC completing correct paperwork (2-3 per day)
What skills & experience you’ll need
* Strong communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration within a remote team
* Proactive problem-solving abilities to address challenges efficiently and independently
* Autonomy in work execution, coupled with the capability to seamlessly integrate into a broader remote team
* Familiarity with DC bookings and DC Goods In processes, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of logistics operations
* Ideally experienced in utilizing D365 and LIMA for enhanced efficiency in tasks
* Proficiency in Excel, enabling the seamless compilation of data from various sources to create insightful and concise summary reports, including the ability to use V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, and Data Validation
