GSK's Precision Medicine group is seeking an Oncology Clinical Imaging expert to join our team. The Clinical Imaging team's mission is to evaluate, develop and implement imaging biomarkers in clinical drug development. In this role, you will oversee the setup and delivery of imaging endpoints for Phase 1 to Phase 4 clinical trials, ensuring a complete and accurate data package is provided to study teams.

In this role you will
* Subject Matter Expert: Serve as an in-house imaging specialist, particularly in Phase 2-3 studies with common imaging-based response assessment criteria.
* Imaging Data Review: Integrate seamlessly with the Oncology Clinical Development study teams as RECIST 1.1 expert and perform instream imaging data review and query resolution.
* Operational Excellence: Provide advice and recommendations on standardisation of imaging techniques to study teams and local Clinical Operations colleagues, ensuring proper implementation and oversight of imaging in clinical trials.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Network within GSK's matrix environment to identify and meet stakeholders, and devise imaging strategies that help progress assets through the development pipeline.
* Precision Imaging: Evaluate and implement cutting-edge imaging techniques such as PET-CT to measure drug delivery, target binding and therapeutic response in patients.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with study teams and advanced technology groups (AI/ML, Stats, Precision Medicine) to devise, implement and analyse imaging biomarkers in clinical study protocols.
* External Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, imaging consultants, imaging CROs, and academic labs to support disease-specific imaging needs. Maintain a state-of-the-art knowledge of advances in Oncology imaging and represent GSK in external meetings.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* Bachelor's degree in a biomedical or imaging-related field.
* Experience in clinical imaging using multiple radiological imaging modalities (e.g. CT, PET, MRI).
* CRO/pharma experience in drug development.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:
* Medical, master's or PhD degree with imaging experience in the fields of clinical pharmacology, radiology, nuclear medicine or drug development.
* Understanding of cancer biology and clinical staging.
* Strong understanding of clinical trial design and statistics for imaging endpoints.
* Successful implementation of imaging strategies for biological targets or drugs.
* Experience in authoring scientific articles and clinical trial documents.
