Job Description:
One of the leading names in the Electronics industry is looking for three B2B Pre-Sales Engineers for their site in West London.
The role of B2B Pre-Sales Engineer is to accompany Key Account Managers on sales opportunities, understand the structure of different customer IT environments, and propose the most appropriate Mobile B2B solution and associated configuration. The Technical Pre-sales Engineer is the subject matter expert in B2B Solutions.
Key Skills Required:
1. Mobile B2B Familiarity; ability to understand the end-to-end solution.
2. Ability to quickly assess Enterprise IT & Mobility environments.
3. Ability to communicate crisply with customers – be the trusted partner.
4. Focus on customer issue troubleshooting and contributing to successful solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as principal technical liaison for customers and selected 3rd-party mobile software companies.
2. Deliver technical product training to mobile operator teams, channel partners, and internal teams.
3. Develop technical sales documentation supporting operator and channel partners.
4. Coordinate delivery of solutions by liaising with global R&D teams, Product Management, and 3rd party partners.
5. Provide technical support for integration and testing of mobile business applications in Europe, as well as technical interface with European partners: Operators, ISV, System Integrators.
Skills and Attributes:
1. Extensive experience with Enterprise Mobility Solutions.
2. Experience in Mobile Device Management or Mobile Application Management.
3. University degree in engineering or a related discipline (an equivalent period of industrial experience may be substituted).
4. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
5. Experience in developing or supporting a wide range of business applications, including mobile messaging, device management, security, and other mobile client apps.
To be successful in this role you ideally have:
1. Technical understanding of European wireless communication technologies.
2. Good communication and presentation skills.
3. Experience of working in matrix teams across different cultures and time-zones.
4. Good underlying knowledge of Linux OS and IT infrastructure is an advantage.
5. Precise method of working with above average commitment.
6. Knowledge of public sector security requirements is an advantage.
7. French/German spoken desirable.
