Location : Cheshire (please apply only if you live locally or wish to relocate to this area) Salary: £28,550 per annum (£13.90ph) OT approximately £10k Overtime rates : Weekend x1.33 Saturday x1.5 Overtime is available up to 11 extra hours per week, adding approximately £10k in overtime pay Working Hours : Monday to Thursday 6:30am – 3:30pm Friday 6:30am – 12pm About the Role: In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing upholstery for a variety of vehicle interiors, with a focus on specialized vehicles like ambulances and minibuses. Your duties will include selecting appropriate materials, accurately measuring and cutting them to fit specific dimensions, and creating patterns to ensure consistency. You will use industrial sewing machines to stitch fabric pieces together and attach them to various components of the vehicle interiors. Additionally, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining existing upholstery, ensuring all work meets our quality standards, and collaborating on custom upholstery designs. Key Responsibilities & Experience Required: Creating and installing upholstery for various vehicle interiors Choosing appropriate materials Using industrial sewing machines (flat-bed) to stitch fabric pieces together Fitting and attaching upholstery pieces to the vehicle interiors, including seats, headliners, panels, and other components.
