Job Description
What will you be doing?
To perform the daily duties, checking and general processing of all Static data functions, in a timely and accurate basis, whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role holder will operate within defined standards and guidelines which are aligned to service level agreements and data quality controls.
As Operations Executive - Static Data, some of your responsibilities will include:
* Ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and work is produced within deadlines, reporting any anomalies to your line manager within agreed timescales and ensuring that personal and team KPI's / KRI's / MIR are met.
* Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a timely professional manner, liaising with fund managers and external parties where relevant.
* Log, maintain and respond to written client enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring all client and external documents are relevant and up to date.
* Contribute to the review of team tasks, identifying improvements with a view to enhancing client service.
* Adopt a high-quality culture to minimise errors and ensure high quality service levels are delivered.
* Demonstrate an understanding and application of the Group's Conduct Risk Framework and maintain knowledge and skills in line with industry, regulatory and internal requirements by undertaking regular CPD.
Qualifications
Key Skills and Experience:
* Demonstrable interest in financial services and in particular investment management.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences.
* Ability to summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner, with problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
* Ability to organise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines.
* Respond to queries from both internal and external parties in a timely manner and provide a high level of customer service.
Desired:
* Experience gained within a financial services institution, especially in Operations, is advantageous but not essential.
