We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our Institutional Banking Group (IBG) as a Business Management & Support (BMS) Associate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 5 years of experience in business management, financial services, or corporate banking to support the strategic objectives of the business line. The role offers the chance to work closely with senior management, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to drive operational efficiency, enhance client experience, and contribute to the continued success and growth of our IBG division. Job Responsibilities As a BMS Associate you will be a key player in the IBG team, assisting in business performance analysis, project management, improvement initiatives, and the execution of strategic priorities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Business Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Track and analyse key performance metrics for the IBG division, including client acquisition, portfolio performance, and revenue generation. Assist in preparing and presenting regular reports on business performance, market trends, and competitor analysis. Support business leaders in making data driven decision by providing insights into financial performance and operational efficiencies. Project Management: Lead and assist in key projects that align with business strategy such as process improvements, product launches, and technology upgrades. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Risk, Compliance, Operations, and IT to ensure new project approvals and other ad hoc projects are delivered on time and within scope. Monitor project milestones and help resolve issues that may impact delivery or performance. Process Improvement & Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve workflows, streamline processes, and enhance client experience within the IBG business line. Work closely with the regional IBG teams at Head Office and other countries to implement process improvements and automation solutions. Document standard operation procedures (SOPs) and help to drive consistency across the business. Stakeholder Communication & Relationship Management: Serve as a liaison between the IBG business line and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across teams. Prepare presentations, executive summaries, and reports for senior leadership, stakeholders, and external partners. Manage business management related enquiries and ensure alignment of goals across internal teams. Risk Management & Compliance Support: Support the IBG team in ensuring adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements including risk assessments, internal audits, and regulatory reporting. Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with business activities and initiatives. FATCA/CRS Report Act as the FATCA/CRS champion and manage the FATCA/CRS reporting of IBG. Credit Support & Administrative Function: Act as the backup officer for the Credit Support and Administrative Function. Essential Skills and Requirements At least 5 years of experience in business management/project management, ideally within a banking, financial services, or corporate environment. Good knowledge in corporate banking including AML/CFT and trade finance. Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, and business performance metrics. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Solid project management skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
