What You’ll Do: Join our team at Premier League Productions (PLP) as a Digital and Social Assistant Producer and step into a pivotal role within our dynamic digital content creation team. As part of our innovative digital & creative department, you'll be at the forefront of producing compelling short and long-form social videos that resonate with football enthusiasts worldwide. Your daily tasks will include expertly self-editing on Premiere Pro to ensure our content meets the highest standards of quality and engagement. Collaboration is key in this role, as you'll work closely with producers to identify and develop captivating stories that resonate across various digital platforms. From planning and researching content to coordinating location shoots and setting up both single and multi-camera setups, you'll play a vital role in bringing creative visions to life. Beyond production, you'll capture the excitement of match day experiences through mobile phone footage, delivering timely and compelling content to our clients and audience. Your role will also involve selecting and distributing high-quality match content from live feeds, always mindful of compliance guidelines to uphold broadcast standards. Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To: Daily self-editing on Premiere Pro of social videos and features, and on occasions working with avid editor, to supervise post-production as necessary. Producing and self-editing features for PLP’s digital & creative department – creating & publishing engaging digital content in 9:16 and 16:9. Working with the Producer to identify stories, ideas for social content that people will share across digital platforms. To plan, research and edit content. With some location shoots set up requirements as required. In addition, assisting our Originals team in creating world-class stories about the Premier League, the players, and its fans for short films or short form features, in multiple aspect ratios. Under the guidance of the Producer, to help set up single & multi-camera shoots and conduct interviews with studio on-screen talent, players and matchday contributors as necessary. On the weekends, and evenings where needed, to film mobile phone match day content and deliver to our PLP clients within a tight deadline. To work in a live match day environment selecting high-quality and compelling digital match content from PLP live feeds and distribute to our clients. Understand compliance guidelines for live matchday, clubs, broadcasters, as appropriate You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job. You Will Have The Following Strengths: Experience of self-editing on Premiere Pro. Experience creating content for brands for social platforms and knowledge of what makes a great social video. Experience of creating digital content for sports federations or broadcasters Experience of dealing with talent (presenters, commentators, football players, and club press officers) Experience of publishing to all social media platforms and knowing what works best for each one Demonstrable evidence of editing video (both match footage and player access) specifically for social media, particularly TikTok and Instagram Knowledge of social media best practices, how to hook in audiences, and examples of keeping up with trends We’d Love If You Also Have These: Ability to plan, but also work under pressure, and to tight deadlines. Good communication skills (both written and verbal) with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to balance their own workload while also offering support/guidance to other team members.
