We are looking to appoint an exceptional person to join the Tooting campus Payroll, Pensions and People Systems team within Finance. The post holder will be responsible for the day to day duties to ensure all staff are paid on time and accurately. They will provide a pro-active payroll advisory service, working closely with the finance, business and HR teams and be the expert in staff terms and conditions. We would like to hear from highly competent candidates who have experience of providing an efficient payroll and pensions service.
This role will be fixed term for 12 Months.
Key Attributes Of The Successful Applicant Include:
* Educated to a minimum of GCSE standard
* Minimum 2 years’ experience of working in a payroll function
* Experience of using a computerised integrated HR and Payroll system
* Extensive working knowledge of Income Tax, National Insurance, Statutory Sick pay/maternity pay/adoption and parental leave
* High level of prioritisation and organisation to manage a high volume of work and priorities effectively
* Strong organisational, time-management and communication skills
* Enthusiasm and personal initiative to solve problems
