Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced A-Level Biology Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching to our students, guiding them to success in their studies and fostering a love for the subject. As part of a highly motivated and collaborative department, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the academic journey of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach A-Level Biology to students, preparing them for exams and supporting their academic progress.
2. Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons.
3. Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on students’ work to help them reach their full potential.
4. Contribute to the development of the Biology curriculum, ensuring it remains up-to-date and relevant.
5. Support students’ personal development through mentoring, pastoral care, and extracurricular activities.
6. Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department and across the school to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
7. Keep up-to-date with the latest educational trends, developments, and advancements in Biology.
Requirements:
1. A degree in Biology or a related field.
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
3. Proven experience teaching A-Level Biology in a classroom setting.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Passion for Biology and a commitment to inspiring students.
6. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong organisational and time management skills.
8. Experience with a range of teaching and assessment strategies.
9. Two education or school-based references.
10. Have the legal right to work in the UK.
11. Have an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary, Fixed-term contract, Temp to perm.
Pay: £160.00-£250.00 per day.
