Job title: Nuclear Early Careers Support – Nuclear Skills and Capability

What you’ll be doing:
* Working as part of the Nuclear Early Careers Functional Team, contribute to the delivery of all aspects of the scheme requirements.
* Assist the Project Leader and Principal Operations Engineer with the planning, delivery and overall management of the Nuclear Early Careers schemes onsite.
* Assist the Principal Operations Engineer and Project Leader with delivery of all aspects of Nuclear Early Careers calendar of events, including recruitment & functional coordination.
* Review and sign off of all related scheme paperwork, for objective setting and competency portfolio building purposes.
* Support the Management of the Early Careers Placement and Administration Tracker.
* Provide support to the Principal Operations Engineer with the maintenance, update and improvement of the Nuclear Early Careers Workspace page.
* Contribute to the ongoing review and overall delivery of Portfolio and End Point Assessment requirements.
* Monitor and support the Nuclear Early Careers cohorts with any safeguarding, wellbeing or pastoral concerns.
Your skills and experiences:
* Experience in an Early Careers Environment/ Capability Management, Training and Development/ Human Resources would be advantageous.
* Previous experience of working in a people-centred role.
* Ability to coach and mentor early careers personnel throughout their programmes.
* Experience in planning, facilitating and documenting meetings.
* Experience producing and interpreting metric data.
* Able to complete tasks autonomously under little supervision.
* Resilient, self-starter and able to prioritise own workload.

The Nuclear Skills & Capability Team (Early Career):
The Nuclear Capability team govern our organization in order to maintain Nuclear Safety for the site ensuring we have the right roles filled by the right people with the right nuclear skills. This role offers great exposure due to the cross-function programmes and you will have the opportunity to work with industry experts. The team will see a significant increase in demand and is anticipated to grow as we continue further into the Dreadnought Build Activities and all future programme needs. We offer relocation support across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
