They will be moving into a more generic QS role, they will be working in existing team reporting into the MQS on the project. At Monk Fryston they will be doing general QS work Calculate quantities and costs for materials, labour, timeframes Prepare tender packages and contracts, including bills of quantities Manage risk, value engineering and cost control measures Analyse repair/maintenance costs Negotiate contracts and schedules Oversee and value subcontractors' work for payments Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards Continually assess value Analyse outcomes and provide budget/progress reports Advise on claims, disputes and any contractual issues Dealing with CVR's on a weekly or monthly basis Dealing with change orders, logging them Dealing with compensation events Dealing with earned value, progress Most Important Things: They are NEC 3 or 4 for client side and for specialist subbies and suppliers, they use bespoke subcontracts (and there may be 10-15 subcontractors per site) Utilities experienced or Stone roads Scaffolds Trackway Foundations Steel erecting Fences Traffic management Vegetation clearance Levelling Piling Groundworks Degree qualified or equivalent or RICS or ICE professional membership 45 hours per week Hybrid min 3 days per week on site Full UK driving licence Would suit a M&E Engineer, Design Engineer, a Design Manager, Proposals Manager, Project Engineer To apply speak to Cindy Anderson We also have roles in Projects, Engineering, Site Management, Operations Management, Site Engineering, Design, Health and Safety and Compliance
