Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our friendly team at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital, providing support, advice and guidance on employee matters relating to all our staff. You will support our People & Culture team in providing administrative support and dealing with calls made to our Advice Line. These calls will be across a range of employee issues, such as policy, procedure, pay queries, terms and conditions and giving support to our Leaders on managing absences, disciplinary and grievance cases. We will also involve you in taking minutes of meetings, room bookings and supporting the People & Culture team. This is a real opportunity for you to get involved in a pro-active and supportive People & Culture team, with the ability to grow your employee relations knowledge and develop into other areas of the wider team. Human resources experience would be beneficial, but is not essential as we will give you a structured training and development plan on appointment. We are looking for a full-time secondment/fixed term contract (until end of July 2025), Employee Relations Officer, with normal working hours being Monday to Friday, with start and finish times agreed on appointment.
