We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clients elderly residential care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in elderly care and residential management, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents while complying with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the residential home, ensuring a safe, caring, and supportive environment for all residents.
* Lead and motivate a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care services.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents.
* Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
* Manage the budget and resources of the care home effectively.
* Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
* Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders.
* Implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.
* Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills And Qualifications:
* Proven experience in elderly care and residential management.
* In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
* Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
* Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent).
