What Does Being a Care Assistant Involve?
As a Care Assistant, you will support clients in their homes, helping them with daily needs to enable them to remain in the home they love. Your job as Care Assistant will include:
1. Providing a minimum of 1-hour visits
2. Introductions to all new clients with another Care Assistant present
3. Delivering companionship-led care services
4. Assisting with shopping, general household tasks, and preparing fresh food
5. Building strong professional relationships with clients
6. Offering a variety of non-medical services to help clients maintain independence in their own homes
7. Assisting with personal care routines
8. Medication administration and keeping accurate daily records
Compensation and Benefits:
9. £12.70 per care hour
10. Paid travel and wait time between clients
11. Additional 45p per mile
12. 28 days paid holiday
13. Personalised Care Professional and Client matching
14. Paid introduction to your client before delivering care
15. Personalised and ongoing support for you
16. 24/7 on-call staff support

Qualifications
Qualifications:
While you do not need formal qualifications to become a Care Assistant with us, experience in a care setting or interacting with older people is beneficial. We will provide full award winning training where you will obtain your Care Certificate. The ideal candidate will:
20. Have a passion for supporting others and delivering outstanding service
21. Previous experience working with the elderly, ideally in a care setting.
22. Be reliable, trustworthy, and respectful
23. Enjoy building professional friendships and spending time with others
Requirements:
24. You must live within traveling distance from our office in Pewsey, SN9.
25. Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle
26. Have the ability to work every other weekend
27. You must have the right to work in the UK
28. This role is subject to references and a DBS enhanced disclosure.
29. Please note that we do not hold a sponsorship license at this time.
