Level 3 Teaching Assistant – from January We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant who want to make a difference to children’s education and development. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience supporting children in a Primary school setting. If you have the skills and passion to support young learners, this role may be for you Hours: Full-time 8:30am – 15:30pm Pay: £12.90 - £14.50 EYFS Location: Padiham, Lancashire Responsibilities: Have a nurturing and calm approach in order to build relationships with children. Communicate with families/carers to provide feedback about children. Provide support to all children, including those with additional needs. Deliver some whole class sessions, when covering a Class Teacher. Deliver small intervention groups and Phonics sessions. Work closely with the Class Teacher and other professionals to enhance children’s learning. Assist with classroom management and use good behaviour management strategies. Help to create a safe, fun and inclusive learning environment. Commit to the wider life of the school and the community of the school. Requirements: A minimum of 2 years Teaching Assistant experience in a Primary School setting. A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. Enhanced DBS on the update service. Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Excellent Safeguarding knowledge.
