Job Description : We are looking for a proactive and reliable Teaching Assistant to support the classroom teacher in providing high-quality education to students in KS3 - KS5. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with lesson preparation, providing one-on-one or small group support to students, and helping to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment. Responsibilities : Assist the teacher with planning, preparing, and delivering lessons. Support students with individual learning needs and provide additional help as necessary. Supervise students during class, lunch breaks, and other activities. Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment. Provide feedback on student progress to the classroom teacher. Help with administrative tasks such as preparing teaching materials, grading assignments, and organizing resources. Support students with special needs or those requiring additional assistance. Foster a supportive, safe, and inclusive atmosphere for all students. Attend meetings and professional development sessions as required. Requirements : Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting (preferred, but not required). Minimum of 5 GCSE'S. Degree in childcare or a simular subject. Level 2/3 qualified Teaching Assistant qualification or simular. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well as part of a team and independently. Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude. A genuine interest in supporting student learning and development.
