Agile Films is an award-winning, full-service production company known for outstanding work in commercials, music videos, branded content and feature films. The Assistant Editor will play a crucial role as part of the post-production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for post-production, excellent client-facing skills, and an understanding of the VFX pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a full-time position.
Collaborate with editors and the post-production team to assist in various stages of the editing process.
Conduct meticulous quality control checks to ensure all deliverables meet the required standards.
Manage and organise project files, ensuring they are accessible and properly archived.
Skills and Experience:
Ambition and enthusiasm for working in post-production.
Good client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
Understanding of the VFX pipeline and its integration into the editing process.
Knowledge of online broadcast delivery standards and processes.
Excellent QC skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Software Proficiency:
An understanding of Adobe Premiere and Avid Media Composer.
Familiarity with Adobe After Effects.
Basic knowledge of DaVinci Resolve.
Competence in using both Mac and Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with Frame.io for collaborative review and feedback processes.
Working Conditions:
Location: Agile Films office, Shoreditch, London.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 18:00.
Salary: Competitive, relative to experience.
