We are seeking a dynamic ESG professional looking to take the next step in their career to join our Global Corporate Affairs team. This role supports the generation of data-driven insight needed to shape and deliver our responsible business commitments progress and ambition. Against a backdrop of evolving regulatory requirements, notably the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and other international standards, we are committed to building stakeholder trust and confidence by acting on issues that are important to them, and meeting standards that demonstrate these commitments in action. As ESG Analyst you will support the integrity of our responsible business communications, supporting Convatec to continue to build stakeholder trust and use that insight to inform strategy and priorities. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Support the advancement of Convatec’s responsible business strategy with key stakeholders • Translate developments in the ESG regulatory environment into broader business priorities and programmes • Project manage compliance with key ESG regulatory requirements and advancement on other prioritised disclosures • Lead narrative on disclosure development for Convatec’s EU CSRD requirements working closely with stakeholders across the business • Work with Finance colleagues and our assurance provider to contribute to Convatec’s ESG controls environment • Support customer facing requirements YOUR PROFILE • Degree-level qualification in related field such as environmental science, social sciences, sustainability, business management, or investment and commitment to continued professional development given dynamic nature of ESG landscape • 5 years industry experience in relevant/ related roles; or 3 years with Master’s Degree • Experience in project management, working with multiple deadlines simultaneously • Ability to analyse, interpret and act on complex and sensitive information, particularly around net zero transition, workforce matters and other disclosure areas • Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative data analysis • Ability to build effective relationships and strong rapport with a wide range of colleagues • Ability to draft clear, concise, compelling and high-quality content for responsible business programmes and activities • Strong communications skills with an ability to flex styles depending on purpose/audience • Experience in a global organisation and / or the health, life sciences or pharma industry is a bonus, but not essential.
