Completions Administrator Salary: £23,494 per annum Hours: Full time - 35 hours Contract: Permanent Location: Onsite (Head Office, West Bromwich) The West Brom are looking to recruit a Completions Administrator to join our mortgages team. The role holder will process all mortgage applications from offer to completion within agreed service standards with a high level of accuracy, excellent customer service and handle calls effectively. In addition, the individual will be required to administer correspondence and emails from customers, Solicitor and Valuers by delivering ‘Right first time’ solutions for all work processed ensuring that department quality and service standards are exceeded or delivered and that all regulatory requirements and internal risk and control framework measurements are adhered to. To provide technical, comprehensive information and administrative support to colleagues in the Society, branch network and external connections. Key Responsibilities: To process mortgages through the various completions tasks, achieving required productivity and accuracy objectives Ensure inbound / outbound calls are handled efficiently and professionally in accordance with the pre-determined standards and provide support to Contact Centre agents/ deal with application queries. All mortgage documentation is scanned and logged accurately, and administration is completed accurately. To package all mortgage offers to customers / solicitors / brokers. Process Certificate on Titles to agreed service standard and ensure they adhere to lending policy Ensure that the Rules and Guidance within the FSA's Mortgage Conduct of Business (MCOB) and Insurance Conduct of Business (ICOB) Sourcebooks, are complied with. To have a good understanding of risk within team and department and to understand personal responsibility in ensuring the department remains compliant Contribute to the department meeting the requirements of the Society’s Risk Framework by: Escalating up the line any risks identified Reporting any Incidents to Operational Risk and to the departmental Management line Skills and Experience Required: Good level of PC skills, including Word and Excel Previous customer service or administration experience, preferably in the mortgage sector Effective time management and ability to prioritise workloads Empathy towards customers Ability to work effectively as a member of the team Professional telephone manner Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines What’s in it for you?
